"Al met al was het een goed, degelijk weekend voor ons en ik was tevreden over de manier waarop Kay in beide manches heeft gereden."
De resultaten vertellen niet het hele verhaal, aangezien hij in beide races geen beste start had, maar zijn snelheid tijdens de manches was erg sterk. Dat hij zich door het veld heen wist te werken en constante rondetijden neerzette, laat zien op welk niveau hij nu rijdt.
In de tweede manche maakte hij een kleine fout en kwam ten val, wat jammer was omdat hij goede vooruitgang boekte. Maar het belangrijkste was hoe hij reageerde: hij vocht tot aan de finish en wist de race toch nog in een goede positie af te sluiten.
Het is erg bemoedigend om te zien dat hij aan het einde van de race een aantal van zijn beste rondetijden neerzette, en het laat zien welke vooruitgang we boeken. We blijven vooruitgang boeken en er zijn veel positieve punten om mee te nemen uit dit weekend. Het team heeft zoals altijd fantastisch werk geleverd en de Kawasaki presteerde feilloos. Hartelijk dank aan het hele team en de productsponsors voor hun voortdurende steun.
Nu richten we onze aandacht op Sardinië, dat met het zand een andere uitdaging met zich meebrengt, en we kijken ernaar uit om te zien wat we daar kunnen bereiken terwijl we onze inspanningen voortzetten.”

"Het was een goed weekend, een stabiele eerste manche met een tiende plaats, ik had een slechte start maar reed goede ronden en eindigde als tiende.
Tweede manche weer een erg slechte start, maar ik schoof snel op naar de elfde plaats. Helaas maakte ik een kleine fout en crashte, maar ik vocht tot de laatste seconde en kwam als elfde over de finish, zelfs met een paarse sector in de laatste ronde, dus het voelt goed om te zien dat we stappen in de goede richting zetten. Nu maken we ons klaar voor Sardinië om te gaan sandsurfen."

“Overall it was a good, solid weekend for us and I was pleased with the way Kay rode in both motos.
The results don’t quite tell the full story, as he didn’t get the best of starts in either race, but his speed during the motos was very strong. To come through the field and deliver consistent lap times shows the level he’s riding at now.
In the second moto, he made a small mistake and went down, which was unfortunate as he was making good progress, but the important thing was the way he responded – fighting all the way to the finish and still bringing it home in a good position.
Seeing him set some of his strongest lap times towards the end of the race is really encouraging and shows the steps we’re making. We’re continuing to build and there’s a lot of positives to take from the weekend. The team did a great job as always and the Kawasaki performed faultlessly, so thanks to all of the team and product sponsors for their continued support.
Now we turn our focus to Sardinia, which brings a different challenge with the sand, and we’re looking forward to seeing what we can do there as we keep pushing forward.”

"It was a good weekend, a steady first moto with p10, I had a bad start but rode good laps and finished 10.
Second moto again really bad start but I moved quickly up to 11th. Unfortunately I made a little mistake and crashed, but fought till the last second and came home in 11th with even purple sector last lap, so it feels good to see we are making steps in the right direction. Now we get ready for Sardinia to do some sand surfing"
